There are many projects available on the genetics of colour pattern determination, behavioural ecology of wing patterns, and the population genomics and biogeography of adaptation, using Heliconius or other butterflies as model systems. We have strong collaborative links with labs in the UK, Switzerland, US, Panama and Taiwan.
